As well as Zelfs, I also like dolls. My favorite doll artists/companies are Robert Tonner and Integrity Toys. (I don't do Barbies.) I admire the artistry it takes to create a doll that has personality and charm.
I have a small house, so I have to keep my collections small and not get carried away.

In addition to select Zelfs and a few ponies, I collect plush fish (and other fishy things). I know it's weird but they're so cute! I also tend to hoard Dia de los Muertos-themed stuff!

I collect a little of everything. Half the time, I buy toys because they inspired me or inspired a story. The other half cos they're cute, and/or I'm a fan of the series. =D

I collect a lot of things! My biggest collections consist of Zelfs, ball-jointed dolls, graphic novels, Playmobil, and Copic markers. I also have an extensive collection handmade/indie toys and plush. My smaller collections are too numerous to list... Eeep! I just love beautiful/cute/small things. ;^;

I collect:
Monster High - there's so many characters and lines and they come out so fast nowadays that I physically can't keep up so I now only collect my favourites. I do try to get all the new characters though I may wait for a later release over their signature. (Skelita, Twyla, Jane, Catty, Scarah, Gilda and Slo Mo plus the new hybrids are all one's I still need. Plan to get Scaritage Skelita and ILF Scarah) and on characters I already own, I try to limit myself to a max of 3 dolls.
Me to Yous - I don't have loads because there's so many, but it's something friends and family can and will buy for me as gifts.
Zelfs obviously. xD I started collecting late so have chose only to get my favourites.
That's pretty much it. I used to collect TY Beanie babies and BEGoths but I stopped collecting them a long time ago. I only have 4 of each left.

You know what, apart from a handful of cute iwako Japanese erasers, Zelfs are really only the things I collect! As a child I used to collect all sorts. Badges, Tazos, Beanies, Pokemon cards (Spice Girl photos!!) but once I transitioned into a teenager I pretty much completely stopped collecting stuff. My boyfriend is a big collector. He's really into trading cards and has a massive collection of Dr Who, Star Wars, My Little Pony, Psych cards among others. I've been after something to get into collecting for a while now and so glad I stumbled across Zelfs! They've recaptured my joys of collecting, hunting down the ones I want, and now, being older, I actually have the money to buy things, hurrah!

Aside from zelfs I collect bjds, it was kind of because of bjds that I started collecting zelfs, I wanted something to collect that wouldn't be such a wallet emptying experience haha. But then I got obsessed with zelfs, needed them all and emptied my Wallet anyway :S

kailaoceano, Your collection is AMAZING! And so well organized. *swoon* I just got my first Monster High doll. One of my best friends said she wanted to customize one. So I bought three: one for her, one for me, and one for my other best friend. That way we can customize them together! I was NOT expecting to like them so much... But I LOOOOOOOVE my Howleen! OMG!!!! She is adorable! So I went on eBay and bought a CAM gorgon girl... Aaaaahh. Nooooooo... I don't have room to start a new collection! Someone stop me before it's too late.  |

They are UFO crane machine toys  Some sites sell them like mandarake, bigpfeiffer, biginjap and several listings on ebay. |

My main collection is books, primarily hardcover edition fantasy. Then there are zelfs of course. My daughter has an affinity for mlps. Over the past year I have also fallen in love with Monster High and Ever After High, can't imagine why I didn't start collecting MH dolls earlier... I also collect dragons and dinosaur figures, Funko Pop, mystery minis and Disney infinity. Currently I am trying to work up the courage to go get the Hot Toys Loki and Thor action figures, but the price tag is a little scary |

There should be an "Other Collections Photo Thread"  - I would start it, but apart from my books, my "collections" are really only a couple of things or even just 1 doll or thing from a toy line. I plan on collecting Lottie dolls. I already have Pandora's Box Lottie and Autumn Leaves Lottie. They are just so cute!  Whoops! Sorry for the massive pic! That's Pandora's box on the left, my Simply Mango Blythe in the middle and Autumn Leaves on the right. The Lottie dolls also have super cute hats and stripey scarves, which they haven't got on in this pic as you can see. I would be collecting a lot more toys if I could but this year has been very difficult what with my parents being ill. Hoping 2015 will be much better. |

The collection I follow most religiously is my zelf collection (I try to get every medium ,large, one version of each little character and most other related merch e.g magazine, sticker album ) My second biggest collection is monster high approx 25ish (I also repaint them ) Then it is probably my little pony all generations except g2 Other collections include .pullip dolls . Frozen and other Disney dolls .makies Bratzillas dolls .lilo and stitch plushies Trolls collectors bears e.g. Steiff, Herman And other Radom cute stuff |

The only other series I collect properly is Skylanders. Other than that I collect little bits that I like from pokemon, digimon and Disney fairies. I used to collect rubber ducks and dragon figurines but not so much now. Ohoh and I also have a full set of the Argos aliens! I would love to collect Novi Stars but I can't afford it so I just look. |

Novi Stars can be found in some random shops here and there. I saw a Sila Clops (and another one I forgot the name of) in the toy section in my local TK Maxx. I sooo regret not buying her because she was only £9.99 and now I'll probably have to buy her from ebay or Amazon for more than that. :/ I also found an Anne Artic in my local Home Bargains just before Xmas, for £6.99! XD Also in the Home Bargains was one of the cyber-hair lookin' Novi Stars doll but I wasn't too fussed about her. |

Mmm. Well between me and my kids we have collected over 30 zelfs since I discovered them in November. I just can't stop! They are so dang cute!
I also have my childhood American Girl doll which now as an adult with the help of my husband have been able to almost complete her collection. I dreamed as a child about owning all her dresses and accessories. Now my eldest has been bitten by the AG doll bug after playing with mine and learning more about US history. There may or may not a doll waiting to be opened on her birthday!
MLP has offically taken a backseat since the Zelfs arrival.
And...mmm...I don't know...I think that's it!

I LOVE reading about other peoples' collections!! I collect: -Zelfs (my newest collection but my fave right now, hense why I joined this lovely forum!) -Monster High -Novi Stars -Giant Microbes plushies (plush toys of bacteria and such - weird but so cute and educational!) -Lalaloopsy (mainly the minis) -Pokemon cards/Absol (fave Pokemon) merch -Sonic the Hedgehog (mostly classic style) -Lego mini figures -My Little Pony -Funko Pop Vinyl -Disney classic movies/Pixar movies -Retro video games (mainly Sega Megadrive) -Studio Ghibli movies ...i collect a lot! *blush* looks kinda bad all written down like that, but I love them and I'm not a completist (except for movies), and only buy the characters/items I really like! |
