Who else loves Doctor Who? My husband got me into it back when my oldest daughter was a baby, so Matt Smith was my first (and current fave) Doctor. My other faves are Peter Davison and Paul McGann. I'm also reaaaaally excited for Peter Capaldi!! My fave episodes so far are The Doctor's Wife and Vincent & The Doctor. Geez. This show aired on a cartoon channel a long time ago. I remember that one day I woke up at 7:00 AM to watch it. They put My Little Pony instead. I didn't like MLP on that time, so I was very frustated XD. I wish I could watch Doctor Who again ;-;

Doctor Who! Ah, one of my all time favourite shows. I cannot wait for the new season; the teaser trailers have me all intrigued as to what Capaldi's Doctor is going to be like. Favourite Doctors would be (in chronological order): William Hartnell, Tom Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Christopher Eccleston, and Matt Smith. Though truthfully, I really like them all. I won't try to list my favourite companions, because we'll be here a while but I'll keep it at least: MARTHA JONES DESERVED SO MUCH MORE, RTD.
...Yeah, I'm a passionate fan of the show.

My family just started watching last year and got totally hooked. I've really only seen the Doctors from the reboot (9th, 10, and 11th), although I did watch a few episodes with the 4th, as I barely remembered seeing him on PBS when they were showing episodes when I was a kid in the 80s.
That photo of your daughter dressed as every single Doctor is beyond amazing!

I'm very much an "old-skool" Doctor Who fan. XD I used to watch it all the time as a little girl and I absolutely loved it. My favorite doctor is the Sixth, even though he's usually everyone's least fave. But I luvs him, he's so crazy! Haha. I also am crazy about the 4th (of course! Who isn't? lol) and the 7th (umbrella!). I'm one of those who refuses to watch the reboot because I don't want my nostalgic memories of the original Doctors ruined.  So I haven't seen anything new in ages and I've never seen the 9th, 10th, or 11th Doctors at all. The last Doctor Who thing I watched was the American 90's movie with the 8th Doctor which was weeeeeird. |

Poor Martha.. she was great but she kept getting treated like the rebound. D: Also OMG OMG DRAGONFLITTER! SOMEONE ELSE WHO LOVES THE SIXTH DOCTOR. My husband thinks I'm nuts for liking him, but I think he's awesome! I was so bummed we ended up not being able to go to Gallifrey One last year because he was one of the GOHs. D: Got to meet Peter Davison and Paul McGann the other years we went though, which was amazing.  |

I really like Doctor Who I was really into the series 5-6 with Matt Smith and Karen Gillan. I just love the chemistry between Karen and Matt~ I am highly anticipating Series 8 with Peter Capaldi. I still haven't watched the older Doctor who series but plan too. |

Six is awesome. Anyone who doesn't think so needs to re-watch Trial of a Time Lord, and just bask in his sheer awesomeness. Also Colin Baker is awesome! The Big Finish audios were kinder to Six than the show was, though if you know the story of what was happening at that time... well, it's not a big surprise really. Long story short; Colin B deserves the title of super mega fan.
@pega Sue - I will never forgive RTD for the way he treated Martha. Poor girl did not deserve that crap, and I cheered when she basically went "nope, better than this, leaving now." Feel a bit annoyed she hasn't shown up in any UNIT related stories since Moffat took over, but then I remember that RTD - him again - basically turned her from being a high up and respected UNIT medical officer into a vigilante alien hunter. Which is cool, but still; wouldn't it have been awesome to have Martha working alongside Kate Stewart and Osgood?
Trying not to brag here, but I've met: Frazer Hines, Mary Tamm, Elizabeth Sladen, Tom Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Sophie Aldred, Peter Davidson, Louise Jameson, Gareth-David Lloyd, Kai Owens, John Barrowman, Noel Clarke, and James Marsters. ... I do a lot of conventions. William Russell is meant to be at the one I'm going to at the end of this month (Ian!) so I really hope to get to meet him.
