French Canadian here. I'm Maxime, turning 23 in two weeks. History major. I was really big on trolls in my childhood, and growing up, it's even worst. (Maybe that's why I'm so fascinated with Iceland, the country of Elves and Trolls) So yeah, then I found out about Zelfs. Done. Sold. And now I'm here, waiting for my Jewely on the way. Glad to meet you all.

Thanks !
The company is so nice.
Since I keep my Zelfs in the boxes, they agreed to make a one-time-only agreement and send me Jewely without having to open 10 of them and cut the UPCs.
They truly rock.

So how'd you get them to do that? Did you just have to take pictures?

Yeah, I sent them 4 pictures by email. Serie 1, Serie 2, Clover and all of them in one spot. ( A.k.a right under the television in my living room. )

That is very lucky for you, Maxe! I am glad people are able to get hold of Jewely though; in the UK she seems to be send-away only, and according to the email I got, they've already given out all that they had in stock (boo).
Can I ask, what aspect of History have you majored in?

As I said I truly have a passion for Iceland's history. Don't even ask me why, I have no link whatsoever that could explain it. Haha.
And yeah, Québec's history too... Just to have something to teach if I decide to follow that path.
Still searching for a master's subject.
Leaning towards the viking presence in Canada / Québec or childhood in the 20th century Québec. (Mostly during La Grande Dépression)

I find the history of Scandinavia and its legends (trolls, etc.) to be very fascinating, too! Of course, it helps that I live in a town which is called the Troll Capital of the World (I kid you not; here's the website: trollway.com/). So there are LOTS of trolls around here, ha ha. And I agree, the history of Viking settlements in Canada is fascinating! I will be in Canada later this year, but I don't think we'll get to visit Quebec, sadly. My husband would really like to, since he likes to believe he's a fluent French speaker (he took a French class in High School...). Let's just say that he'd probably embarrass us both. Ha ha!

I have always thought Maxime was such an awesome name.

It's Latin for "The greatest / tallest", which is really ironic considering I'm a 5'5, 23 yo male. Haha.
