Those who are from the MLP Arena might know about my little Zelf contest story. I decided to enter a contest meant for kids whose prize was a lot of Wave 1 Zelfs. I did it for fun and I thought I wasn't going to win (intentionally drawing my picture resembling a little kid's style) but they sent me a message saying that in fact, I won. I sent them a false name and my friend's address so my mother would never know that I won 'a bunch of toys'. My original plan was to get the prize and donate some Zelfs to charity, keeping the ones I really like. But then I couldn't retrieve the parcel because I gave a false name. I asked for advice in the WYP forum and finally decided that the best thing to do was to let the post office return the parcel to the contest. However, today they asked me again for a direction to send me the prize. So I've got a second chance to retrieve it.

I know that there are people who disagree with me because I cheated. I repeat, my intention wasn't winning, and, to be fair, I think I was the only one who entered this contest... Anyways, I know that it was meant for children and not me, so that's why I'm unsure about what to do now.

Iiiiiiii don't know. I'm sort of with you on this, Dreamcatcher. I wouldn't feel right winning in a kid's contest, personally. I think part of it is my cultural background guilting me into it, but yeah, even if I'm a toy collector, I can't take potential toys from children. I would have returned it, personally, and would provide an explanation as to why.

My personal opinion is that it would be better overall for some kid who worked hard on a drawing to see what their talent and work can reward them with rather than they simply go to charity. Any toys are great for charity but this way, a kid out there gets to see the fruit of their labor, which is important when you're a budding artist as a kid!

Just my two cents
