I'm proposing a letter to ToysRUs to make sure to continue to order, and stock the Zelfs!
I recently spoke with Pitbulllover on the forums about how she contacted Moose about the Zelfs, and they told her ToysRUs had only ordered limited quantities for Zelfs for Series3, so that means series3 may be even harder to find than series2!
So what we need to do is compile a list of everyones local TRU's they shop at.
The store number should be at the top of your receipt along with your survey code to win $500! Make sure you take the survey, and in the survey tell them how you want them to continue to stock the Zelfs, and how they're the main reason you continue to come back to ToysRUs, because I don't know about you, but that's why we keep going!
After we compile a list of all the stores we shop at, we send a formal, and informal(e-mail) to ToysRUs explaining how these are the stores that if you continue to stock new series of Zelfs they will continue to be bought!
Here's another thing, I know a lot of us have duplicates, and shelf warmers in our stores..
We're eventually going to have to buy those, if we don't, Zelfs will disappear like all other great toys that shouldn't have! Give them as gifts, donate them around Christmas time, hold a Toy contest on your WEBFORUM!?(Maybe! I might devise something soon!)
We should be proud of our Zelfies, we've made it 3 great series, but WE want more! There's so much they can do, and still have the ability to do, Moose Toys just needs our help!

I have another idea for duplicate Zelfs. Customize them. I am actually surprised not to see many custom painted Zelfs yet when they are a perfect canvas. I actually have a couple in the works that I'll show when I'm done.

Oh man, I hope this doesn't mean that they're going to get discontinued in the US or anywhere else. D: Would love to know if Series 4 is in the works.

Wardah: I can't wait to see your customs! I saw a couple of customs on eBay a few weeks ago, and they were gorgeous. I'd like to customize a Lil'D to have flames all over, and get rid of the painted "horns" and the pitchfork on his tummy. This is a project that's been at the back of my mind all week.
Anyway, I do have a few young nieces and nephews who just might get some Zelfs for Christmas. LOL!
I will definitely do the Toys R Us survey. I just bought a couple of Zelfs last week, and I think I still have the receipt. If I don't, then I'll probably get a couple of Zelfs when I go tomorrow.

Ah ... dang it. I DID still have my receipt from a week ago, and went to do the survey just now. It turns out there is an expiration date for the survey depending on the date of purchase. They only give you TWO DAYS after purchase to do the survey, or else you can't do it! Sigh. It wouldn't let me use this receipt to do the survey, because it apparently "expired" three days ago. LOL. Well, I'll just have to get another Zelf and another receipt, then.  |

Webina, the two that I'm working on have swapped hair but even without swapping the hair there is a lot that can be done with just paint. I know this from working with ponies.

Hmmm ... I went to Toys R Us today. There were NO new Zelfs. The tinies are all sold out, the mediums are almost all sold out, but they had lots of the Venus Flytrap and Toadstool playsets, and lots of large Zelfs. I spoke to someone there about it, and they said the individual stores have no control over what gets ordered. I think we need to tell Toys R Us of the situation here in the U.S., and suggest that they order more mediums and tinies because those are the sizes that are selling out. I kept my receipt, so I'll do the survey sometime today. I found a medium masquerade Spellinda there, and since I don't have any of the masquerade line, I bought her. Oh, and I also bought two large Zelfs ... my first larges. I got the large Flitter and Buttershy. |

Perfect, yea my TRU has told me the same thing, make sure whenever you can comment in the survey you comment about how the Zelfs are what keep you coming back to toys r us!

I think that's our best defense for now.
We don't want to harass TRU or Moose about the Zelfs because if they get negative feedback they won't continue the brand, ykno?!
So think of that next time anyone bashes either place!

Just did the survey. Yay! They want a lot of info for it, like your store number, the transaction number on the receipt and even the cashier number. LOL. I let them know I went in for Zelfs, but didn't find many of the medium and tiny sizes because they've been selling out at my store.

That's a great idea but sadly my store is over stocked with all of the same character of series one they have like 30 of them but I am out of work and with no income I can't afford to go and buy them all to help others I wish I could I hate seeing them all sit at my store.

Anyone who has a Kmart near them should also encourage them to carry Zelfs. I know they are about as widespread as TRU compared to Walmart or Target but the more places the better. Kmart might even be closer than TRU for some people.
