To open your limited edition, or not? I don't know whether or not to debox my Snowphie. I really like her packaging but I also don't like keeping things in the package. However, I feel the packaging is what makes her somewhat special? Also, down the road I don't know what might happen, or if I'd need to sell her. I don't know. It may not even be a relevant question since fortunately, Snowphie seems much easier to come across, but I thought I'd get some input if you don't mind  |

Of course, the ultimate answer is 'do whatever you feel is best', buuut... I keep mine in the box, though not for monetary value - I'm a little OCD, so if there's a figure out there that I might not be able to easily track down again, I'll keep it in the box for the sake of preserving the box itself. Unlike most collectors, I love boxed items - I would go as far as to say most items look better in the box than out of the box most of the time. Zelfs are one of the few toys I've deboxed, because I love them both in and out of their box and because I don't have the room otherwise, but I still keep special ones in the box, just in case |

I open my zelfs. if you decide to sell her down the line im sure you can get a good price for her if you keep in her good shape. theyre are clovers selling for like 50 bucks with no wings

I open all of mine, but on Series 1 I was saving the insert with their name on it. Dunno what I'll do for series 3.

I've opened all of mine except Snowphie- I think I will open her though, I'm just not 100% certain

We opened our Snowphie! If you're real careful you can keep the package near the best part is the back card!
Besides you can enjoy her flocking without opening her!

I guess it depends on what you wanna do with Snowphie. =D The fun bit for me is admiring the boxes and then opening up the boxes/packages to get to the prize. It's a luxury I don't often get as I usually have all my stuff unboxed to save on shipping costs. =D
You could always leave her in the package until the day comes when you go "I have to pet her flock!" XD

Hm, I'd say keep her boxed unless you happen to get a spare. But I see many people have already given fantastic advice, so do go with what you feel is right.

Honestly it's upto the individual but I personally have to say set them free. I kinda think what's the point of buying if you're not going to let them out xD Might aswell leave them in the shop  Ofcourse I know people do leave them MIB and that's fine, it's just not for me. I like being able to play with them and pose them for photos, which you can't do if you don't let them out. |

My Jewelly and Clover are still in their boxes...I want to open them, my mum and OH say keep them boxed though in case I ever want to sell them. But when I had MH Scarah and Hoodude I unboxed them; sadly I had to sell them and I still got a good price for them. My son and I are swapping rooms soon so I get to set out all my toys again, which I love. As to whether Jewelly and Miss C stay in their boxes....probably not lol |
