Hello!  It's nice to see a forum just for Zelfs. I'm an adult collector who mainly collects dolls (Dals, Yeolumes, Isuls, Taeyangs, Hujoos, PetWORKs, and Disney). I've pretty much been obsessed ever since I bought Garny, my first Zelf. |

Woo , a Fellow Georgian. What part ? I live out in the middle of nowhere, and while there are several small towns in my area, I have to go Columbus if I want to shop at TRU, Target, Barnes & Noble, etc. |

Yeah, they are! =D But I do miss the Namus. They were probably less popular because the faceups on the early dolls were so -bad-. XD I kinda wish they would release a Namu or two for old times' sake. I know I'd snap them up in a flash. >=D |

I know I'd snap them up in a flash. >=D I always thought Namu Wolf was cute and wouldn't mind having one, but Namus don't seem to be as easy to find anymore, at least not for a decent price. Yeah, since they did the regeneration series of some of the older Pullip releases, it would have been nice if they released a regeneration Namu. |

I have friends who live in Columbus =) I am in the Conyers Area. Up by Atlanta, right? My family heads up there once in a while. Usually, we stop at the mall in Lawrenceville so I can frolic through the Disney Store.

Hiya. I'm an adult collector, too. I have a little girl, and we both like the Zelfs. I'm next door in Alabama. Garny was my very first Zelf, too! Then Lunanne was my second one, then Angelala came to live with me, then ...
Now I have (*counts Zelfkind*) 27 Zelfs, two of them large size.

Those are good sons!  My daughter is 6, and she understands there are "rare" Zelfs, so she'll help me comb the shelves to look. The last time, she was looking and was being really loud about it, saying "Now, we have to look for the RARE ones!" in as loud a voice as possible. LOL! We haven't found any, though. Actually, our TRU is currently sold out of the medium sizes completely. I spoke to the manager about it last week, and the manager said she'd try her best to get some in. |

When Series 1 first came out, our TRU was really great about keeping the shelves full. I had no trouble at all finding who I wanted, except for Miss Clover  Then with Series 2, it seemed like they hardly had any in stock, except for the surprise eggs, which they had a bunch of. I was so desperate for a medium Lochlan, that I bought one on eBay, which was either never shipped or lost in the mail (I got my money back). When I finally did find a medium Lochlan at TRU, it was almost like finding one of the rares! (Speaking of rares, your daughter sounds really cute! Have you two ever had any luck finding a rare at TRU?)
Right now, there are a lot of empty spots in the medium Zelf section at the TRU where I shop. They do have some of the new mediums, but only a few of them. They don't have any minis at all. What they do have are a bunch of large Angelalas and Lil Ds, also the Venus Fly Trap salon (which is on clearance), taking up space on the lower shelves. One of the employees told me they might get a truck in on Monday, so I'm really hoping for more new medium Zelfs, maybe minis, too.

Nope, we've never found a rare.

I went today (I was in that part of town anyway, so I stopped for a look), and they'd gotten in a single tiny box of six medium zelfs. That's it. I think the stores here are having a hard time getting the mediums. The manager told me she's trying to get them into the store, but is having some difficulty getting their distributor to send her any. I think there's a serious distribution problem here. They're selling faster than the stores are able to get them in.

At the store in Columbus, they always had them in the middle of the main aisle in front of the doll section. When I went in recently to look for Series 3, they weren't there at all. Even the shelving unit they had been sitting on was gone. So, I looked around, and they are on a back endcap in the doll section, where they could be easily overlooked.
I'm hoping to go back sometime during this upcoming week to see if they got in a new shipment, but I don't have high hopes, as what they already have in stock doesn't seem to be selling very well, as far as the large Zelfs and playsets go. Maybe they will have new medium Zelfs, though!

The store I go to went from one to the other, first with the island, now to an endcap that really isn't that noticeable. I was afraid that it meant that the Zelfs weren't selling well. Hopefully, they will get more mediums in stock this week. |
