Hey! Another Zelf fan here from the West of Scotland. Well, Glasgow. Graduated from uni, and unfortunately unable to work but I'd rather not go into that at the moment, all things considered.
Got into the Zelfs by sheer random accident. Was just having a nosy in the toy section of my local Tesco, and saw this adorable little angel... thing. (Well, I didn't know what it was at the time). Since I was up with my Mum doing the grocery shop, I showed it to her. She was taken, and since then I've just sort of picked them up on seeing them. Have pretty much all of wave 1 and wave 2; only missing the playset Zelfs and Jewely, and really looking forward to the upcoming wave 3 - I really hope I can get hold of the white tiger one; promo pics show it to be adorable.
Favourite zelfs would be ... well, Dandy-Lion, Dorothy-Doe, and Catsby. Oh, and Lunanne. Though, all are freakin' adorable.
Yes, looking forward to interacting with you all!

Went to Scotland last year, Edimburg is one of the most gorgeous cities in the world. <3 So, are you more of a YES or a NO person ?

Edinburgh is very beautiful, if a bit of a tourist trap, particularly at certain times of year. That is what makes it fun though so... *le shrug*
Actually, I'm more of a neither side is giving me enough answers person, if I'm being perfectly honest about it all. The Yes side deflects important questions with rhetoric about how great we'll be going it alone, and the No side seems to employ scare tactics some of the time. However, when I consider all the facts as I know them, including my own research, and some general common sense... I'm probably going to lean towards the No vote when the time comes. Mostly because one of the first things to go if Scotland becomes independent would be the free prescriptions and frankly, medication is not a cheap thing, and I know many people who wouldn't be able to afford their needed medications if that happened.
Also; seriously, we have enough troubles with trying to get Scottish bank notes accepted in England when it's the same currency - I am not in the mood to learn a completely new one.

I noticed that. I still have some Scottish currency as no one in Britain would accept it. Haha.
Another thing for me to hoarder.

Wow, I had no idea what you all are talking about but I assume it has to do with local politics.
Anyhow, welcome!

Ah, Mermalade, Webina, sorry for the brief politics talk. It's a big issue over here in bonny Scotland at the moment (less than 100 days until the vote) and frankly, having read all the published materials, I still don't think either side has a good enough argument.
I am very glad to be here, and am doing my best to overcome the thing in me that makes me want to shy away and not post. Everyone here seems so very friendly, so that helps a lot. Not that they don't on other forums, but again, the size thing can be... yeah.
Thank you for all the warm welcomes!

Welcome! I like to think Scotland has its own honorary Zelf mascot (Lochlan, of course).

Ah Lochlan, clearly the child of Nessy.
Thank you for the welcome - the teeny Dorothy in your avatar looks adorable!
