Although I applaud Moose Inc. for their creative naming department, some of the Zelf names are real groaners! And some are just plain odd. Does anyone else have any alternative names for your Zelfs? I do!

-Although this isn't really a rename, half the time I call Jewely "Ruby" since some advertising calls her that
-Dolly as a name for the 'goth moth' makes no sense to me. @_@ I call her Mothra, which is silly but still makes me laugh every time I see her. XD
-Float makes me think of the MLP named Floater. o.0 I think I'm going to call her Coral instead, based on her color.
-Owlmanda is too awkward to say, I just call her 'Manda for short.
-Vampula, Buttershy, and Spellinda the Zelicious Zelfs are going to get renamed when I buy them, since in my head they are the cousins of the original three instead of the same character over again. They just look too different!

I'd love to hear what anyone else (or their kids?) have thought up for new Zelf names. ^.^

And I call my Lunanne "Luna" because I have no idea how to pronounce Lunanne! I probably also mispronounce Flamy's name. I call her "flame-ee".

Lunanne - Luna Pega Sue - Pegs Ty Foon - Ty Chocola - Coco I also have a friend that calls Dorothy-Doe Dotty.

And I'll be doing a competition soon with some new customs, where you all can give them names and bio's!

Nice, guys! I love reading up on what you call your Zelfs! lol

I just picked up Frostette and Chocolaa and I definitely am picking new names for them.

Chocola will be Fondue, because like nonesuch posted, I tend to rename my Zelfs if I'm not sure how to pronounce the name Moose Inc gave them. And although Fondue mostly makes me think of melted cheese, there ARE chocolate fondue things out there lol. Plus they mention fondue in her bio and she has a little fondue fountain which is CUTE! ^_^

Frostette, I just didn't like the name. She's going to be Sprinkles since she has sprinkles on her for markings. If she was a boy I would have named her Jimmies, which is the word we use for 'sprinkles' here in Maine. (I've traveled outside of Maine and apparently this is the only state that uses the word jimmies instead of Sprinkles. When I'm traveling and I say I want jimmies on my ice cream, no one knows what the heck I'm talking about. XD )

And "Float" is now "Cloud," because it sounds better than "Float." LOL.

Starkle: Hey Dreamcatcher, whilst you're over in the UK I would take advantage of finding the Zelfs you can't find so easily in Spain! I love the Design Your Zelf, its cute and you can practice making new Zelfs on it too!
