Last week I held an art stream where people could get a quick commission of one of their personal characters done up as a zelf. I've been hoping to drum up some more interest in zelfs and this seemed like one of the ways I could do it.

I had a lot of fun and I am planning to do it again!

Here are the characters I got to convert into zelfs during the stream. There's a sabertooth, a dragon, an otter/pony/capybara mix, and a spotty ferret!

Benevolent pinktator. Self-rescuing princess. Plays football with her tiara on. Bringer of the sparkopalypse.

Awww Pega Sue, you are so awesome! ^_^ We are all spreading the Zelf love in what ways we can--and your idea is great!

I love your designs. The dragon is totally my fave--I love the wings and really love the tail with the little Zelf-fur on top!

The ferret one makes me laugh. Dook Zelf. XD I have friends who raise ferrets and their car is covered with bumper stickers that say 'Dook dook!' and other things.

The sabertooth Zelf is awesome! He looks so natural and fun-loving. And the last one is cute, such an interesting mix of characters! ^_^

Thank you guys! It was really a lot of fun. I love drawing other peoples' characters, everyone always seems to come up with such great ideas and it is inspiring to me.

I will have to tell the owner of the dragon character that you all thought he was cute!

Dragonflitter: We used to have five ferrets when we lived back east.. they're such zany little guys! My favorite was our senior ferret because I could just plop him in my purse and walk around with him and he'd just chill.

Starkle: Hey Dreamcatcher, whilst you're over in the UK I would take advantage of finding the Zelfs you can't find so easily in Spain! I love the Design Your Zelf, its cute and you can practice making new Zelfs on it too!
