Ohhhh I love the latest, Catsby! The penguin reminded me instantly of Cozy Heart Penguin the Care Bear Cousin! (for those unfamiliar: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/44/01/d6/4401d6000edc3ea2de5278e597e7c799.jpg ). I'd probably name the Penguin Cuddles or Snuggly as a play on that ^^ I really like the reindeer, too I like cutiepieclover's suggestion of Cinnamon <3 Hightail look AMAZING, and is that the Colour-your-Zelf big guy as a medium?? that is so cool!! I have one of those Colour-your-Zelfs MIB, my boyfriend named him Beef Supreme XD he wants me to customize him and put a big cheese burger on his belly LOL I added to that, that I could make his hair like condiments for a burger |

Awwwww thanks Howlette! Yeah it wasn't intentional to make the penguin purple look like Cozy Heart, I just thought purple and white were good colour choices! Haha. You're not the first person to say that either! Haha. Good suggestions for names also. Thanks that is Hightail and Design Your Zelf as mediums also, I'm gonna do Snowflake and Sheldon soon I think, I'd like to do them all as mediums at some point! Lol at Beef Supreme! XD I'd like to see pics of him once you've customised him, I guess tomato sauce and mustard are two condiments, what could be the green and blue though??? Haha. |

Here is cinnamon's bio, I'm sorry it took so long I have been unwell :/ Cinnamon Reindeer zelf Zelf bio: this jolly reindeer is all about entertaining his friends, wether it's baking them delicous cinnamon spiced cookies or singing and dancing.there is never a dull minute with this playful zelf! OMGOSH CATSBY! Artie is *amazing*. He's a zelf who is close to my heart, as my nephew is on the spectrum, so I'm so happy Moose Toys made an illustration of him AND your custom is just absolutely perfect!! I'm half tempted to ask how much you might sell him/another one of him for? Truly amazing work! On that note - do you sell your customs/make custom commissions? They're just precious! <3 |

Thanks Twinklestah!!! Awww, glad you like him! I still have a 'feeling' that Moose will make a toy version of him themselves at some point, but he was too cute for me NOT to make a version of him, if that makes sense?!? I'd love to start making them to sell at some point (that will require a LOT of spare Zelfs though), but I kinda just make them for fun really, and work long hours so I fit in around that. Maybe in a few months, I might be able to start making commissions or make to sell though, who knows? I'll keep you posted!
If you have ideas of Zelfs you'd like to see, am happy for suggestions/ideas though??? I know there's a list on here somewhere, I'd like to do some of those soon!

I'd love to turn some of my own characters/designs into Zelfs. I'm tempted to try some customisation myself, but I'm unsure what to do about the hair. Might try with the minis first! I sorta had the same feeling that Moose might make him too! It's too cute an idea not to, and it really fits well with the Zelf theme with him being made for a specific day & all. Keep up the awesome work! As far as ideas go - I really love animal Zelfs, and festive themed Zelfs (Halloween, Christmas and so on - the colourschemes on holiday toys are just too adorable!). I also like your smaller versions of large Zelfs a LOT. |

Thanks again Twinklestah, give it a go at customising Zelfs, its quite addictive and I'm very interested in other people's ideas and designs! For me, I generally swap the hair with another, depending on colour and theme. Even if you do mini's that's a great start!! I agree, the Autism Zelf is very popular with nearly 1000 likes on FB, so I think its highly likely to be made! Yay!! I'd defo like to do more animals and festive themed ones, before I did the Zodiacs I was gonna do a Zoliday range (New Year, Valentines, Easter, Halloween, Christmas and maybe something like Firework Night?!?) I may do them yet. Thanks, I'd love for Moose to make the S3/4 Larges in mediums, since they're my favourite size but in the mean time had to make my own.... for now!!! (I'd like to do Soanne and Bella Blossom too.) |
