So I definitely didn't want to start a Zeries 4 topic and make you think I had discovered something you hadn't, so I had to add that into the title!
Regardless, Zeries 4 is right around the corner, and we're hoping to get the scoop before anyone else!
So what do you think the new specials will be, who will be the rare Zelf, and who will be the new Manny/Webina!?

I can't wait for Series 4, the buzz when I first joined this forum was great, it was when Series 3 was just about to launch and people were looking for any clues for names and stuff!
To be fair, I like most of the Zelfs and think they have a great and interesting combination of creatures, fantasy beings, nature, elements, insects, animals, and themes. If we made a list of each and add the Zelfs so far, there are a few possibilities (snail, grasshopper, beetle and caterpillar for example to the insects)
I have a feeling, that the rare will be either blue or yellow for some reason and possibly male, but I have no idea what it could be?

I have to echo Catsbys thoughts. When I joined, I'd been stalking for a week or two for more information on series 3 that was due to be released before finally deciding to join.
I honestly don't know what to expect from series 4 but I will see Zelfs seems to be getting better and better each series so hopefully there's another bunch of lovable never-seen-before zelfs in the line. I would love to see more nature themes and winged zelfs. Elfa and Birchy are love (as are Miss Clover & Petal and I do seem to favour the zelfs with wings... Not always ofcourse)
For the rare, we've had plant, jewel and animal so far so hopefully it will be something else. No clue on what though.

I hope they don't do as many animal Zelfs this time, although I'm extremely fond of my Dandy Lion. He's such a little charmer.
I couldn't even guess what they're going to do, though. I'm hoping for more jewel Zelfs, or glittery mediums, though. Or just some really cool, non-girly Zelfs like Garny and Ty Foon.

Maybe a lightning bug or firefly!?
They could use the plastic from Deeno and Lochlan larges!

Ooooooooh a glow in the dark medium Zelf! Squeeeeeeeee!  That would be cool! I guess with a glittery rare, a translucent, gemstone rare, and a flocked zelf, I wonder what else they could do??? I've just added a musical rock star Zelf to my customs actually. |

Just bumping this thread, I think that either a Blue/Glow in the Dark 'Rare' Zelf or maybe a Golden/Metallic'Rare' Zelf could be next??? Anyone got ideas for the next Rare? What could it be??? I'd love it if Moose Company could be directed to the forums, then they can see our potential suggestions for future Zelfs and maybe incorporate them??? That would be amazing!!! |

But yes I've been saying they're going to have a GiTD Medium Zelf be the next rare! We'll just have to wait and see!

Around this time last year is when series 2 got leaked on Taobao, so I would say start keeping your eyes peeled for Series 4 on there! Also, the UK Toy Fair is a month before the NY Toy Fair, so I'm pretty sure we'll get some previews of Series 4 (and maybe 5?) then!
Amber Matthies mentioned on Facebook that there will be a Series 4. I think Moose is just pushing Shopkins right now since their Season 2 is releasing soon.

I've heard through the grape vine series 4 will be released in the UK sometime in January, and America and Australia in February/ March. There will be another themed mini playset set too.  Im a little sad they wont be out for Christmas though. |

All toy companies get pretty quiet about their next-year's toy lines around November and December. It's the end-of-the-year lull (in toy news, that is). It happens every year with every toy company. They focus on selling their current product for the holidays, while planning big reveals for the following year to take place a few months from now. A lot of companies will reveal their 2015 lines in February during Toy Fair. I know of some doll companies that wait even later than February to announce that year's collection.
With that said, YAY!!! THERE WILL BE A SERIES 4!!!! *Jumps up and down*

Wait a sec... I remember designing a teddy bear Zelf in the 'Dream Zelf template' topic! She doesn't look like the official one, but... I find the coincidence astonishing! I don't mind these ones are large Zelfs... I want the goat! As for the others, I predict... a cherry tree (I'll call her Blossom until her official name comes out), a winter hare, a kirin and Poseidon/Neptune. Also, calling the Teddy 'Bea' until her official name comes out... yes I like naming Zelfs  I remember calling Ty Foon 'Thunderstruck'.... |

Cherry Blossom and Winter themes are totally my thing so I absolutely love those 2 the most. The other 4 are nice but I don't think I'll buy them..
Looks like Marsha may be getting some large friends afterall.. xD

I have to say, although I'm excited that we've gotten to see the Series 4 large Zelfs now, I don't like them as much as I was hoping I would. (Probably a good thing. ... My collection has gotten sort of big as it is.) I'm trying to put into words what I don't like about them, but it's difficult to pinpoint exactly what it is. I think it's just because they've gotten farther away from looking like the little goblin creatures I liked from Series 1. I prefer more simplistic designs, I guess.

I'm with you Violet, I find these a little more crazy/garish looking and coloured! Depending on what exactly they are going for, I much prefer a simple coloured/ one theme Zelfs! Its almost like they've created monster looking Zelfs, with horns and wings and tails! Hmmmmm......

I understand where you're both coming from! I love garish colors like Mermalade's cousin down there, but I'm in the minority with that (understandably so, too).

I for one think they all look great <3 I'm just so happy to see new Super Zelfs tbh, I have been so excited for this reveal. I'm SO happy they're not at all boring I think my favourites are the goat, the alicorn and the mermaid, but I'm going to be getting all of these cuties! I can't wait for the mediums to be revealed now |

Wow, those are certainly not boring I am getting a freaky fusionish feeling with this new series. Don't know exactly what to think about that, but I have no doubt most of them will grow on me when I see them in person. Tropical Mermalade makes me long for summer and the beach :)Wonder when they will be released. Character said new zelfs early January. If that is true it should be any day now. |
