I've been reading up on all of the topics here and did not find a topic referencing this, so forgive me if it's already been talked about. When I picked up my first zelf Lady B one of the first things I noticed about her was how portable she was. I've got pretty bad anxiety and find comfort in having small things on me that can easily put a smile on my face. So with me Lady B went. Today it's raining up here in Minnesota and so I put my zelfs in my rain coat pocket and took them to work. I probably sound silly, but I'm wondering if anyone else likes to take their zelfs out and about? I'm calling this photo take your zelf to work day. Clearly they're enjoying the space on my desk.   |

Aww they look lovely. I get really anxious taking toys outside to photograph incase I get weird looks or whatever but I'm really glad they actually help your anxiety.  |

I love their size!!! I've taken Zelfs with me when I went to pick up my daughter from school. (She's in 1st grade, and loves Zelfs too.) That's the only place I've taken them, though. I love your picture. |

I definitely know what feeling you're talking about. I get really nervous when I take my EAH/MH dolls out to photograph. I've only brought my zelfs to work thus far, but I think I'm comfortable with that here because everyone I work with here are pretty chill. They're all packed away when I'm on transit or anywhere else but home. I think there's just some comfort in knowing one is with me? If that makes any sense, haha. Thank you! That is so cute, I bet it makes her day! Their size really is great. Super easy to pack up and take with if you wanted to, and compared to my doll collection they take up a lot less space on the shelves! |

Oh they look lovely! 'd love to take some pictures of my Zelfs out and about. I may do it at the upcoming comic mart, but that's not for a few weekends now... Hm...

I've seen threads like this on doll forums, because doll collectors LOVE to photograph their collection. If they photograph a doll outside and get a weird "whhhaaattt is that crazy person doing?" look, they just tell them it's for an art project for a college class. LOL! Seriously, I suggest keeping that excuse handy, because you know how people are.

I've seen threads like this on doll forums, because doll collectors LOVE to photograph their collection. If they photograph a doll outside and get a weird "whhhaaattt is that crazy person doing?" look, they just tell them it's for an art project for a college class. LOL! Seriously, I suggest keeping that excuse handy, because you know how people are. That's actually really clever. Definitely going to keep that one in my repertoire.  |

My Mom's cube is ringed with Zelfs. Very colorful. Can't post pics, though - it's not my work area >.> If she gets any I'll see if I can post them - her birthday is coming up in November, so she might I bought an Elfa to take around with me, but I found her hair becomes a rat's nest in my pocket, so I need to find a small box (clear, preferably!) to keep her in safely in my pocket. I have a few pics of her on my phone from the one trip she went on with us at the restaurant - I should get them off my phone and post them |
