I didn't have a lot of time to really look them over, but Cupie is absoultely adorable (my fave of this wave) Sugar Bunny I liked more than I thought I would, and Petal I liked less than I thought (not a fan of the short hair, she is unique and pretty, looks a lot like Tressa and her ears are quite unusual also) Pandela and Chi are alright, but I need more time with them all I think!

Congrats on (being the first?) the new arrivals! I do think Petal would have looked better with the usual long hair or at least all the same length hair rather than long bits sticking out. That is the only fault I have with her. Cupie is precious as ever which I knew would be. I also really do think I need Chi more than ever now after loosing my dog of 14 years one month tomorrow! (She wasn't a chihuahua -she was a doberman/greyhound cross- but.. it's the only dog zelf!) Sugar Bunny definitely looks better than I thought especially with her little markings we didn't know about but I still don't think I'll get her and Pandela is cute but still a pass for me also. I would love to see comparison pics of Sugar and Doe now you have them both, and also see how Tressa looks alongside Birchy, Elfa and the other plants if you get chance. |

Cute! I like Sugar Bunny more than I thought I would. LOVE LOVE LOVE Petal. Pandela is kind of interesting. I may have to get him just because he's so unusual. I like Cupie and Chi, too. Really, it's a very nice group.
Marsha: This is off-topic, but I totally understand how you feel about losing your dog! I've been wanting to adopt a dog lately, because I miss having one. I had a sweet dog for 15 years. She died five years ago, and now I'm thinking I might like to have another dog again some day.

Ah, cupie has the Angelala/Pega Sue/Teeny Geenie face mold. They don't use that one a lot so that may be why her ears look weird to you.

Marsha - Yeah, I will try and take some pics tomorrow of the Zelfs you've requested! Sorry to hear about your dog! Awwwwwww.  (Don't forget there is Coco also!) Violet, yeah I wasn't looking forward to this wave so much, but having them in person changes your mind for sure! Webina, hope you manage to get Cupie soon, she is well cute! Comparisons of Dorothy Doe and Sugar Bunny (as requested) There are big differences, their faces for one, however I think one of them should have been a completely different colour really to distinguish between them more... |

Now I mentioned Petal being similar to Tressa, and they do look similar on my shelves but when I took the photo, they turned out pretty different. I added Buddy as he is a similar colour and markings. (I think maybe its the purple feet on green and the tummy plant is similar too) What do you think??? Attachments:

Finally we have the 'plants/nature' Zelfs in a group. Lots of green, yellow and pinky-purples going on! And my collection as it stands, (I still need Snowphie, and I'd like the Create A Zelf, maybe a couple more larges?!!? I'm Zelf-obsessed for sure!) |

Starkle - Thanks for the request pics. You have a very nice collection of zelfs (and DVDs) SB certainly does look different to DD up close. That's good. She may end up growing on me afterall and Petal definetly fits in perfectly with the other plant/nature zelfs. That makes me like her even more. xD

The good thing is free shipping in the UK, I'm only paying for the Zelfs at their usual prices (£5.99 over here) so I kinda justify it to myself! I'm a completist, I need all the Zelfs! Lol. Still not too sure on him really, positives - he is a lovely yellow colour, has cute wings, tufts and tail, has soft hair and we are lacking in yellow Zelfs overall! Negatives - not sure on his face, not a fan of non-eared Zelfs and rubber ducky Zelf!?! Is that the best they could come up with? Hmmmmm..... the jury's still out on this one for me! What are your thoughts??? Apologies on the camera quality, I took these pics at 6:30am and it was still dark. |

Oh!! How cute. Yellow with wings! Muahaha. I'm not too convinced over the face paint on both Billy and Chi's faces though. Otherwise, they're both winners for me.
For Petal, I kinda wish they had used a different colour for her legs. They've used the same purple in so many Zelfs already.

Yeah I know what u mean Seph! I don't know why I'm not so enamoured with this last group of Zelfs, I think its to do with getting further away from the 'zelf' look and into more natural looking animal types? I prefer the colourful, sticky out eared Zelfs best!
Yeah, there's only so many times they can keep using the same colours and combo's over and over again!
