Who here collects the Mini Zelfs that come in the little flower pots or pink eggs? I thought for sure those would be popular trade items, since they are essentially blind items and you don't know who you are getting until after you buy the toy. I thought collectors would want to get them from someone who already bought them, so you know what you got for sure, rather than leave it to chance at the store. But I bought a few and put them up for trade and no one has even asked about them. XD; I think maybe they are not so popular?
I myself don't really like them. I'm not a fan of the little tiny toys with no detailed paint job on them. I just bought mine on a whim because they were cheap and I thought it might help some collectors. So tell me: Mini Zelfs, for you are they yay or nay?

I have to have them but I personally wish they would do away with them it's just to much to worry about since they are blind bagged.

I wanted to collect them... But when this is your haul:  ...I guess I got a little annoyed. Since pink is my least favorite color, and out of the 36 different ones I got 5 different Zelfs from a batch of 8, 5 of which were Teeny. |

I picked up one once on a whim but I just didn't like them much! I would like to find the variants of Mermalade, but I'm too lazy to hunt them down!

I would be annoyed too, Garny.  That was a very unfortunate break for you. That happens with me and blind bag MLP's all the time... I always get the repeat characters... I don't even buy the blind bags anymore, I just buy duplicates off other people online so I know what I'm getting. |

I wasn't too interested on them when I realized that these and my mini-witches are about the same size. I'd really like to get a mini Spellinda to join my witch crew, but I haven't found those in Spain yet.

I absolutely love the Lil' Zelfs! I must have each and every one! I love hunting for them, but also love trading. I traded lots of them on MLP Arena.

I get them occasionally. I don't have much in the way of doublers, which is fortunate, but they're never really high on my 'to-buy' list

At first I wasn't going to collect the minis, but I'm a completionist, so ... D: I spent a lot of time in the hospital the past year (REALLY hard pregnancy, not fun!) and I'd take my extra mini zelfs with me and hand them out to the nurses as gifts. They seemed to go over really well! I do really love how mini Catsby looks like Stitch.  |

I don't collect the lil' Zelfs. When I first saw the greenhouse it was tempting but I try to stick with collecting only things I absolutely love and I can do without the minis and just stick to medium ones when it comes to Zelfs. I don't really find a lot of fun in collecting blind box things anymore altogether. I used to collect re-ment blind and got to a point to where I would get frustrated about getting multiple doubles or sets I didn't really want and started either just buying full cases or just opened single sets off ebay instead of taking my chances. I think the only reason I still collect blind bag MLP is because of the codes.

I love the minis, because when I don't have much money, sometimes I can still "treat" myself to one (same with MLP blind bags). I also adore mini things, and adore blind bags...
That said, I haven't seen the mini eggs here in ages. I think they stopped carrying them. Anyone know someplace to order a case of them?

I'm not crazy about the minis. I absolutely love the mediums, though. I've only bought one of the minis, and it was green and sort of cute, but I couldn't tell you which one it was. My young daughter managed to adopt it for herself. LOL! So I don't even have it any more. It's somewhere in her room, now.

At first I had decided that I didint want them.
But after seeing pictures of how cute they are, and videos of how fun they are to open - I decided to give them a try.
After opening my first zelf pots, I started thinking that the mini zelfs could look like children of the medium zelfs.
That really sparked my imagination, and now im comming up with zelf families.
I really love them now, I think they are super cute and easy to display. My boyfriend even say, that he think I should have a mini zelf army.
I actually saw a picture on Deviantart, where someone had painted markings on them - it looked really good.

The Lil Zelfs eggs seemed to disappear from my TRU really quickly unlike the greenhouse that just shelf warms. Unfortunately they never restocked the eggs after they ran out which is unfortunate because I wanted a pearly Catsby. I think they would sell well if they actually stocked them.

They have one greenhouse set left that's been warming the shelf for the past month, but have sold out of all the eggs. They actually used to have a lot of the eggs, and sold every single one. |

I wasn't going to get any to start - I thought I'd be good and stick with the mediums. Then I got just one. Then two. Then half a dozen...you can see where this is going, can't you? I've stopped buying them now though as there aren't that many that I need to complete and I have more duplicates than I know what to do with.
Thinking of popping the duplicates on eBay and then getting the ones I'm missing from there too. Unless anyone would like to trade!
