Because there were one or two before, but they are lost in the old topics, so I make this new one.
I'll start with my wacky headcanons/theories:
About Zelf genders: Please, please, don't start any flame wars ranting about a character's gender! This is a nice and friendly forum, but I would like to remember that this is just for fun, and everybody has the right to have their own opinions.
My rule of thumb is: if there are no "she" o "her" or other female pronouns on a Zelf bio, it's male. So my boys are Lil D, Birchy, Catsby, Dandy Lion, Flitter, Lochlan, Snap Jack, Billy, Chi, Manny, Pandela, Ty Foon, Snowphie, Chocolaa, Deeno, Noodles, Talon, Cheeky Tiki, Hightail, Sheldon, Polly Roger, Cyril and Ooma. Those are a lot of boys!
The Zelfs themzelves:
-Spellinda is a sweeter and more sociable version of the "crazy cat lady": because Zelfs are tiny creatures, if a cat sneaks into Zardenia would be a big trouble! But Spellinda has the ability to shrink them so they are not longer a treat to them. Then she adopts them so they learn they shouldn't harm Zelfs. Eventually, cats can stay with her or go away: before this, Spellinda would turn them back into their original size. Catsby like to hang out with Spellinda's kittens, but it's a bit creeped out by her. Webina likes to visit her so she can learn more about spells and try to combine magic and technology... Spellinda isn't very sure about this.
-Lil' D isn't actually evil, just impish and proud of his theme. With bravery as his power, he encourages other Zelfs to do daring things... without thinking of consequences first. He also has got a "Dark Zelfs Club" with Garny, Webina, Ty Foon and Sketalia as members... Dolly wants to join, but she's "too much pink" for him. Lil' D has also considered including Polly Roger into his club, but this little pirate is too busy sailing for the imp's nonsense. He believes his club is also his fan club, as he's got a rock band (The Fireflies), and is always competing against the other musical Zelf, Galexia.
-Garny, as I said before, is a Halloween party planner on October and Zardenia's unofficial decorator the rest of the year. If Zelfs don't like their improvised new decoration by Garny, she'll disappear with the shadows before they can catch her. She would really like to join The Fireflies and it's pretty good playing the Zelf equivalent of an electric guitar. Sassy, smart and somewhat sarcastic, doesn't have anything against "girlier" Zelfs but even though that's not her style, sometimes likes joining them.
-After Mermalade's Zelicious version, I decided that she is a bit of a beach bum and a surfer girl. No beach, no problem; she usually hangs out at Zardenia's water bodies. Her best friend is Polly Roger and they love to explore and go on adventures together on Polly's toy boat.
-Elfa, Owlmanda, Billy and Smoothie are the "prankster group" that like to prank and pull everybody's hair. Smoothie is the naughtiest of them all along with Elfa; Billy is usually the one that advises when a prank is going too far, and Owlmanda tries to make the victims part of the joke, making them laugh with them. Smoothie especially likes to tease Angelala, who is always trying to keep peace in Zardenia with the help of Pandela and Snowphie. Also, because Elfa is somewhat the leader of the group, she doesn't allow her group to play pranks on animals (but that doesn't include animal Zelfs!)
-Flamy usually hangs on Zardenia's gates, always looking for potential dangers to protect the rest. She is their guardian and takes her job seriously. She is also afraid of water but will meet Oceana every now and then. She is also good friends with Noodles and usually when there is a danger they are together like a "warrior and healer" couple. The last dragon, Lochlan, is the shyest of all the Zelfs and is usually hidden underwater.
-Buttershy is another shrinking violet but she believes in herzelf and always tries to overcome her shyness. She is good friends with Hightail, Angelala and Petal, who understand her when she doesn't want to talk or join them in some activity. She wants to join the Butterfly Friends Forever someday. Always loyal, sweet and positive, tries to avoid the "meaner" Zelfs (the Dark ones) as much as possible. She doesn't like to be asked questions and is one of the Zelfs that takes most care of their hair.
-Vampula is another sassy and somewhat bratty, "diva" Zelf. She doesn't seem to be aware that sometimes she hurts other Zelf's feelings without meaning it, but always tries to find the beauty of every thing (yeah, she's like "Ouch! You look horrible... but look at the bright side, now there's no excuse you can't pay a visit to the Venus Flytrap Spin Salon! I'm sure Tressa will make you look fangtastic again!). One of her favorite activities is finding pretty and shiny things on Zardenia and trying to turn them into accesories. If unsuccesful, she will give them to Garny for decorating purposes. She kinda enjoy the mischief the "prankster group" does... until the joke is on her. Her friends are Garny, Webina, Tressa, Lady B and Dolly. She sees Pega Sue as a rival, both in fashion and Zelf Power (she's more than just a pretty face, you know) and totally looks up to Jewely and Cleocat, the fashion queens.
-Lunanne likes to explore the nocturnal Zardenia, but prefers to work alone; that's why she doesn't join Mermalade and Polly Roger. She is somewhat close to a scientist, researching about how to make Zardenia a better place for all the Zelfs. Unlike Buttershy, she loves to answer questions, but sometimes she can't stop talking!
-Dandy Lion knows he isn't as strong as Deeno or succesful as Ty Foon, but is always willing to lend a paw to anybody who asks him. He is the messenger of Zardenia and flies everywhere spreading the latest news. Mature, polite and somewhat dorky.
-Birchy wants to help everybody but he isn't able to be everywhere at the same time; there are some Zelfs that think he can be a bit annoying ("Stop helping me!"). Others think it's sweet, cute and helpful instead. Taking care of the plants of Zardenia calms him, and every time he trips and falls a new plant blooms on the place he fell over.

-Hightail is an artist and always eager to share his latest creations with his friends! Crafting, singing, painting, writing, sculpting, you name it. He's a jack of all states but master of none, but always keep trying and aiming higher! His best friend is Talon.
-Ty Foon thinks of storms as a huge show where he is the protagonist. He enjoys gathering clouds, making them rain and provide Zardenia with an amazing performance of loud booming thunders and flashy lightnings. Not everybody shares his opinion, of course, but he doesn't mind: spends a lot of time thinking about how will the next storm be. After his performance is done, Float brings the rainbow back trying to confort those Zelfs who are afraid of thunderstorms. She has had some arguments with him but Ty Foon does not listen. At least he causes storms sparingly. When not planning the next storm, Ty Foon and float enjoy playing sports with their friends (Spellinda, Garny, Vampula, Birchy, Webina, Ribbita, Deeno, Talon and Noodles for Ty Foon; Mermalade, Flamy, Pega Sue, Flitter, Manny, Beetrice, Sheldon and Roberta for Float; Angelala, Billy, Oceana and Cyril for both)
-Ooma's Zelf Power (Forgiveness) came after being an unbearable and nasty Zelf for a long time, until he learned to forgive himself and others.
-Angelala is a bit of a perfectionist and is often exhasperated on a bad day in Zardenia, but she always tries to show her kind side, so it's very rare that you'll ever see her angry. She takes her "peacemaker" job very seriously and has got Flamy, Pandela and Snowphie as companions to keep Zardenia a safe and happy place for all. This kind and sweet angel likes to comfort sad Zelfs and baking with Beetrice, another of her many friends.
-Catsby is a smart and clever Zelf, somewhat gossipy. Will appear where you won't expect him. Friends with Dandy Lion and Lunanne, always willing to fight if necessary.
-Sketalia is friends with the "prankster group" but does not join their misfits. She prefers to don't look fab but have fun to put on those tiny leaf dresses that doesn't allow you to move. If it was for her she would spend all the day playing with Manny and others and having fun. She likes to scare wandering critters in the night. Playful, cheery and childlish.
-Cheeky Tiki and Frostette like coffee (apart from their respective flavours: vanilla ice-cream for Tiki and cupcakes for Frostette) and both can be seen hanging on the Bee Sweet Treehouse. Tiki often tries to convince Lochlan to come out and meet him by playing his drums near the Rock Garden Pond.
-Kitsu is the "teacher" of Zardenia and her most devoted students are Pega Sue, Howlette, Teenie Genie (who admires and wants to be as Pega Sue, that's why she looks like her), Spellinda and Marsha (who has recently come to Zardenia and is trying to blend in with the community)
