I picked Billy the Duck Zelf for this week's ZOTW because I felt like he deserved a little love and attention. Billy is from series 3.
I'll be the first to admit that I was not wowed when I first saw Billy in promos- however, I stumbled upon him at a discount store a couple of weeks ago and had to bring him home. I loved that they played on the rubber duck theme in color and on his belly mark. I think that his blue eyes compliment the orange and yellow really well. Billy's also got a really sweet smile! He strikes me as one of my shyer zelfs, but has so much to offer! I really enjoy the details on his body like the feather markings on his legs, his sculpted wings and little ducky tail.
Unlike my first impression of Billy in promos, Billy's box art in one of my very favorites from Moose.
I find the animal themed zelfs to be hit or miss in design, but I do really like them in general. I hope to continue to see Moose make more!
What do you think of Billy? Did he find his way into your home? Or is he a pass for you?
(I apologize for a lack of creativity in my photos, I just rearranged my house and the weather here hasn't been very good for photos. Perhaps Billy will bring some spring weather my way!)
