Hi y'all, so it's back round to my turn to choose the Zelf of the Week again, and seeing as I'm going through a 'blue' phase at the moment, I've chosen the Original Blue Zelf - Mermalade as this week's ZOTW! Feel free to share pics, stories, artwork, or even just your thoughts and opinions on this lil' water Zelf here! So far there have been little, mediums and large versions of her, as well as Masquerade and Zelicious variants. Which is your fave? One thing I notice about Mermy, is that she has a 'kind' face, her smile is warm and welcoming, her cool blue colours are perfect for her theme, and her fins are cute! She's one of the originals I owned, and she has been a constant favourite among my Series 1's so far. I like that she's an explorer/adventurer too, that's kinda how I see myself! I don't have many pics of her, but I will take some more as soon as I can! I wouldn't mind trying to find her large version as well for my collection! So c'mon and share the Mermy love here! I really like the new Zelicious version of Mermie, but I don't have her yet. However, the two I do have were very happy to pose for photographs.   I never did get the super-sized version of Mermalade. |

The eyes don't look too bad, but I had to look again at Mermy's arm. It looked like it was a fishy fin, until I realised the leaf is hiding part of it! Lol. |

Well, guess what? I went Zelfing today because it's been a few weeks since I was last able to look for Zelfs. My local stores still don't have the second half of Series 4 (Ooma, Stardust, Oceana, etc) but I picked up a Zelicious Mermalade. Haven't had time to take pictures, but I thought I'd mention it since we're talking about Mermalade this week.
She's so cute. I love the fruit on her head. She smells like fruity bubble gum.

Woo hoo! Glad you got at least one new Zelf Violet, and Zelicious Mermy is a cutie! And smells pretty nice too! Love the rainbow stripe in her hair, and the lil' fruits. She's a great addition to any collection!!! |

I absolutely love Mermalade! She was my first ever Zelf. I have all versions of her except Lil' pearl and medium (first series). I love her colors, her theme, and her scent! One of my favorites  |

Mermy! Mermy was an original fave of mine. I love water themes and pink and blue combinations so she was perfect. Ofcourse other zelfs have come along and pushed her down but she's still lovely and well deserved zotw. I have her Masquerade and Zelicious as I was late to the party. Haven't had chance to take any pics of my Zelicious yet but I'll see if I can dig some old ones out later before her time is up as zotw. I canon that she's a very friendly zelf but naturally hangs out with the other water zelfs and her best friend Flamy. (Who's obviously not a water zelf but shares her mold so) and Sealia is her cousin. |
