So, Howley mentioned on another thread that she thought Manny is the 'Canadian'Zelf, and Moose(s) in general are synonamous with Canada, I was thinking which other Zelfs do you think could be adopted as the 'Mascots' for other countries??? Is there a particular Zelf that could be associated with your Homeland??? Maybe we could agree on a 'canon' representative for each country??? What do y'all think?
I think Miss Clover is perfect for Ireland, Noodles could be China and Coco for France??? For the UK (where I'm from) I'm not too sure though???

Hmm, maybe Snap Jack for Norway? We certainly have enough winter, snow and cold for him to like it here

Lochlan for Scotland! Baabera for Wales? but not sure about England! Other obvious ones include Cleocat for Egypt and Sketalia or even Chi for Mexico?

I agree with all the ones mentioned so far... (I'd definitely say Sketalia for Mexico) but England is a really tough one. =/

I think Miss Clover is perfect for Ireland No. Clover has 4 leaf clovers and it's 3 leaf clovers that are symbolic of Ireland. 4 leaf clovers have nothing to do with Ireland or the Irish, they just stand for good luck because they are rare and hard to find.

But her birthday is Saint Patrick's Day! Plus she is still a clover, shamrocks are just baby clovers I say she's still a good candidate for Ireland ^^

Wow, I sure wouldn't know which one would best represent the United States. My country is so huge and diverse. For example, being in the southern United States is like being in a whole different country than living in the north-eastern United States, in both culture and tradition. (I've lived in both areas, but I'm currently in the south.) The TREES are even different. No joke. Right now I'm thinking Dorothy-Doe should represent the USA, oddly enough, just because we're swarming with white-tailed deer here. Beautiful animals. There are does that regularly come to my mother's yard with their fawns to eat her azalea bushes. LOL. They're all over Alabama. I see them regularly when I take my daughter to school. One time I had to slam on the brakes because three deer sprang in front of my car, one right after the other, to cross the road right in front of me. I was lucky I wasn't going too fast.

Ty Foon should be the UK Zelf. Since it's always rainy and stormy over here Or, Dandy Lion. You know - Three lions on a shirt.

Ooooh some rather good suggestions here! I never even thought about Chi or Sketalia for Mexico, and Cleocat is obviously Egypt isn't she? Lochlan is great for Scotland too, and Baarbera for Wales?!? Hahahahaha! Snap Jack for Norway and Scandanavia - ooooh yes! Ah Violet, that sounds beautiful, deer that come right up to your door! How sweet!!! Lol Garny, I thought maybe Dandy or even Flamy (St George and the Dragon?) for the UK and Ty seems quite appropriate also!! Haha. I'll make a list for them all, keep up with the suggestions folks!!

Perhaps Mint Spellinda could represent Greece, because they use mint in their food? LOL. OK, I'm reaching here.

Haha Violet, I think there's a few places that use mint in cooking! Lol. I did think of Kitsu and Bella Blossom for Japan though, what do you think? As well as Pandela and Ooma for China and Webina for Australia, as they have lots of poisonous spiders there don't they? How about Cindy Moo for the USA also, cowgirls are associated there aren't they? Tiki, and Leylani for Hawaii, and Rainglow or Smoothie for Brazil!?! Snowflake could be considered for Arctic countries like Russia or Finland too right?
