Redfox requested a thread where we could discuss the Playsets, and seeing as we've only had 3 so far (along with a limited Play Set Zelf) Tressa and the Venus Flytrap Spin Salon, Ribbita and the Toadstool Twirl 'n' Swing Playset, and Beetrice and the Bee Sweet Tree House... (what, no series 4???) so far, here's the Playset thread!!! Which is your favourite? Do you like the Playsets? What would you like to see from future Playsets? Feel free to discuss!!!  I happen to like the fact that you can only get a certain Zelf with the Playset, it makes collecting more fun and whilst the Playsets are cute, I'm not over-enamoured by them really! I kinda wish they did more Fabitats though, I think children would like somewhere to house their Zelfs and play with them. I guess my favourite is the Tree House, as there are more things to do/play with! I think a Pirate Ship PlaySet with Polly Roger would have been awesome!!! If you have any pics of your Zelfs playing on the Playsets, please share!!!  |

I'm not usually bothered about playsets, but I ordered the Treehouse last night as it was on sale on the Character website and I really wanted Beetrice I love Ribbita too, so might have to grab the swing set! I think the pirate ship idea sounds great, Catsby! I'd like to see some smaller playsets/accessories in the same vein as the Zelicious packs. |

The treehouse is definitely the best out of all of them, but it was never released/distributed in my country (USA). We did get the first two playsets and their sales were bad, which I'm sure is why they didn't bother releasing the treehouse here. All the medium Zelfs would fly off the shelves, but the playsets would sit there unsold. My local store had to deeply discount both playsets to get rid of them. I did get the Venus Flytrap Salon just to get the cute little green Zelf that came with it. I loved that she had fangs and looked like a little goblin creature. I couldn't care less about the actual flytrap salon part of the set, but my daughter loves it and plays with it. |

We got the flytrap on clearance at Walmart for $11 but uhh then she was on sale at TRU for $10! Eh what's a dollar I guess in the long run.
We ordered just Ribbita from eBay. So we don't have the twirl and spin!

I do like the playsets, but I don't own any! It's mostly because I just don't have space for them, since my Zelfs are all on a couple of thin shelves next to my computer. I do love that you can only get exclusive Zelfs through the sets too.
I love the Tree House, and I've been tempted to get it on a number of occasions! If I had space it would be a perfect holding place for some of my Zelfs.
Something I would like to see are DX Playsets for the Supers, and Lil' playsets for the Lil's (of course)!

The playsets seem to be shelf warmers over here as well. We only own the twirl and spin. Lil' teafaery's zelfs quite like it I believe. They are all hungry for action  I like the treehouse best though because it seems a nice way to display many zelfs without the hair of the ones in front hiding the ones in the back.. I haven't gotten around to buying it though. Too busy collecting series 4 mediums.. But a pirate ship for Polly I would get no doubt |

I like the idea of playsets for little kids but I have no interest in them. I have a love/hate relationship with toys that can only be bought with a playset. I love the idea and with Zelfs it's not so bad and none of the playset zelfs have been must haves for me, but with Monster High there's been a few dolls I've wanted but not wanted to fork out for the playset when I only want the doll. ^^;
I do agree with everyone else though. The tree swing is definitely the best so far because it allows many zelfs to be displayed at once and is interactive so kids get use out of it too. A pirate ship for Polly would have been brilliant though.

I want the plays ets. I love the playsets. As a kid I always wanted play sets and almost never got them... Do you know how incredibly sad I am that the Treehouse was never released here? I want one so badly it's not funny  The Treehouse is amazing *FLAIL* |

Awww. I'm wondering if they've decided to make smaller playsets now, due to the fact that the big playsets such as the treehouse and the twirl n' swing are usually left on the shelves??? It would make sense. |

I got the Treehouse to get Beetrice, but I don't really wanna keep hold of the actual playset, if anyone wanted to buy/trade I much prefer smaller sets/accessories, because they're fun to take photos with, and don't take up a lot of space with all my other collections! |

I adore Beetrice and the treehouse - I love the fact you can display lots of Zelfs on it but not so keen that there is a possibility of the Zelfs' leg paint rubbing off with taking them on and off of the top of the tree. I'd love another playset where you can display Zelfs - the pirate ship idea is awesome! I wish they would do a cloud playset, along the lines of the Barbie cloud castle, all light colours and lots of display space for Zelfs |

I guess this is a somewhat related note, but I was thinking how I didn't really have/play with many playsets as a kid, so that might be why I'm a bit non-plussed on them now. How about you guys? Did you like playsets as a kid? |

I loved playsets and probably had a few when I was a kid! I like having somewhere you can put and play with your toys!!! I agree they take up room and stuff, but I keep mine in a box. You're welcome redfox! I think a Crystal Palace/Castle would be adorable too!!! |

I had a few, but I grew bored of them pretty quickly, if I remember. Not the figures themselves, of course - Just the playsets!
