Welcome to the new zelf RPG forum! Love role-playing? Wanna be a zelf? You've come to the right place! First up, some general rules:
1. No God-modding. If you're unfamiliar with the term, find out more about it here: www.ongoingworlds.com/blog/2010/11/what-is-god-modding-and-why-is-it-annoying/
2. Please keep all RPs to a PG rating. No erotic/explicit RPs, and please keep any violence & gore to a minimum.
As for the rest, all individual RP rules will be up to the host! We're decided on having multiple hosts so that people can choose to run their own RPs with their own headcanon & story ideas, and players can choose different characters to be in each one.
Wanna be a host? Here's how:
1. First, start a Rules For {RP Name By Forumname} thread. The host's first post in this thread should be some details about the RP idea (like basic plot), any specific headcanons you would like to enforce within your RP (like character genders), and any off-limits characters (like if you would prefer the rares be NPC).
2. If you want players to apply or audition for certain characters, they will post those applications in that thread underneath your first post in your Rules thread. All OOC discussion will also remain in the Rules thread.
3. Rules threads will be stickied by mods for you.
4. Make your RP thread and have fun!
5. Remember that different hosts will have different host rules, so please don't go into another RP thread and enforce your own host rules. Ex. If someone else's RP features a character as a female who is male in your RP, you can't go over to their RP and demand that they change the gender.
