Hiyas, Zeeps!

I just joined the forums.

I'm Ziraous a 25 year old crazy rat loving, video & board game playing, Tardis seeking, comic book collecting nerdy woman. ^^ Currently reside in Northeast Illinois (I actually live about 15 minutes from Northwest Indiana) with my wonderful boyfriend and 5 rats.

Oh I love Dragons, deer, dalmatians, butterflies, fairies, geckos. (You will find ALL of these things in multiples around my apartment.)

I honestly do not have very many Zelf as I was an avid MLP Pony Collector. I've finally finished my MLP Flutter Collection and am going to be getting into Zelfs. ^^

My first Zelf I picked up at a TRU in Scranton, PA (I used to live there), around the middle of July of 2014. She is a medium Garny that came with a Spider charm. When I first got her I immediately thought of the Troll dolls I collected as a child and I just HAD to have her, so my boyfriend who was visiting me at the time, bought her for me. ^-^ I later found out that the Zelfs are really troll dolls relaunched in a nutshell. ^^

This past Thanksgiving we were at TRU here in IL where we live, and I saw a Dorothy-Doe. I really wanted her, but I wanted my Toothless plush more. So, I did not get her. Today we were out at TRU and I happened upon a Large Mermalade. She glitters! I had to have her. ^^ So my bf and I got her.

I've been singing "Love Your Zelf" all day today driving my boyfriend crazy. So, he has said I can collect the Zelf long as I don't sing the song 80 times a day. Hehehe.

The Zelfs are not made by the same company as the troll dolls were. The Zelfs are from an Australian company, who bought the idea and initial design for the Zelfs from an artist named Amber Matthies. Here's her main web site: www.trollflings.com/. I'm just mentioning this because the Zelfs are not actually a relaunched version of the trolls, although I don't blame you for thinking that. The first time I ever saw the Zelfs, they immediately reminded me of the trolls, too, because of the hair and general body shape. I think the Zelfs are much, much cuter, though.

Thank you, twinklestah! ^^ I used to actually have over 30 of the G3 MLPs, but they were all in California and idk what my aunt has done with them.

So, I mainly just have my G1 Flutter Pony collection, a few G3s, and a bunch of Pinkie Pie things! ^^

Thanks! I am too! I also went to a different TRU today and my boyfriend bought me 2 more! Polly Rodger & Coco. ^^ I chose Coco because her power is politeness and that is one of the things my boyfriend first noticed and liked about me. =)

Starkle: Hey Dreamcatcher, whilst you're over in the UK I would take advantage of finding the Zelfs you can't find so easily in Spain! I love the Design Your Zelf, its cute and you can practice making new Zelfs on it too!
