I hope this is okay to post!

I've been busy working on a personal project of mine, called The Patchwork Plane.

It's essentially a world (not unlike Zardenia!) where magical creatures live, including my character, the cataroose, who some of you know!

The pictures above are to give you a taster of the sort of thing you'll see there.
This project's been ongoing for nearly 7 years and it means a lot to me (see this post here on my normal tumblr: twinklestah.tumblr.com/post/122806167590/patchworkplane-patchworkplane-the-cataroose) so it would be lovely if some of you had a little look!

I spent some time in the Patchwork Plane last night. It's seems like a lovely place to be, and if I loved your Cataroose before I love her even more now

The homecoming resonated with me. There is a universe "slightly sideways" from ours that I made as a child and have added to over the years, and seeing your homecoming scenes made me feel just like I do when I visit that place again after being away for some time. Everyone is still always there thankfully and I wonder why I ever left:) It's so nice to see other people having this kind of heartchild as well. I'd love to see more of your wonderful characters and artwork so I'll definitely be visiting the Patchwork Plane again. Thanks for sharing it with us

That's pretty much the feeling behind the Plane too! I like the idea of 'slightly sideways'. What a great way to word it

I'm curious about your world as well!

I've got some sketches I made the other night, some to answer questions that were asked, and others to just flesh it all out a bit more.

I'll finish them soon and put them up!

dreamcatcher: More news, more news! My local Asda stocked Design-Your-Zelfs!! Eeeek I'm so excited and still over the fence wether to get one or not! They are a bit on the expensive side and they're quite large, but i think they are some of the nicest looking Zelfs! Nov 5, 2016 12:56:06 GMT -5

Starkle: Hey Dreamcatcher, whilst you're over in the UK I would take advantage of finding the Zelfs you can't find so easily in Spain! I love the Design Your Zelf, its cute and you can practice making new Zelfs on it too!
