I signed up for this site a while back and thought I'd come out of lurking to make a proper introductory post to finally say hello.

My name's Mandy, I'm 30, and reside in a little seaside town in Massachusetts with my fiance, our two kitties, and my many rhacodactylus geckos. I have a large G1 My Little Pony Collection (though I'm no longer adding to them) - and, apart from Zelfs - I also actively collect Monster High dolls. Like some of the other members, I first discovered this forum through the MLP/MHArena. Besides toy collecting, I also like to draw, cook, and garden in my spare time.

I've been collecting the medium-sized Zelfs off and on since series one, and I'm up to 15 now. I'm not aiming for all of them and only collect the ones that catch my eye - though every time I think I'm done with these cute little things, the next wave just pulls me right back in all over again.

Cleocat is my grail right now, and I'm hoping I can find one eventually. Buttershy was my first Zelf, with Ooma being my most recent purchase. I've been hunting for Ooma like mad ever since she was first released, so I was thrilled to find her on Amazon today and can't wait for her to get here!

Hi Mandy!! Wow we're a lot alike, I'm in ME (not too far!) and I love collecting the old MLP too! ^_^ In fact last time I was at TRU looking for Zelfs I was pleasantly surprised to find a dvd set of the MLP Tales episodes from the 90's! lol

About three weeks ago I was in Mass. visiting a friend and I stopped at her local TRU and found Pearleen!

So make sure you keep an eye out when you go Zelf-hunting!

Pearleen seems to be plentiful in New England. I managed to find 3 at the only TRU in RI (2 of them were on the shelf at the same time). Unfortunately the same couldn't be said for Cleocat. I'm in the middle of a trade to get her and plan on holding on to the third one in case I'm unable to find the next LE I really want.

I was lucky enough to find Pearleen a few weeks ago at my local store, and while I love her (she's so pretty in person!), I'm hoping to trade her for Cleocat. I keep looking for another to keep for my collection, but Zelfs seem pretty popular around here and I doubt lightning is going to strike twice for me. I was thrilled to finally spot any of the LE's in the wild though - if only Zelfs were available through more stores here in the states!

I agree, I wish I could find them in other stores. (How come Target gets Shopkins and not Zelfs? -pout-)

Congrats on finding Pearleen, though! You could also join the facebook Zelfs group and post your trade offer there, since there are more collectors on there than here. But be sure to check their feedback before any making agreements.

Starkle: Hey Dreamcatcher, whilst you're over in the UK I would take advantage of finding the Zelfs you can't find so easily in Spain! I love the Design Your Zelf, its cute and you can practice making new Zelfs on it too!
