I saw on taobao a bunch of listings for really cheap Zelfs that look real except they are missing some paint, have weird paint jobs and/or have numbers written on them. There are supers and mediums and even lils ranging from Series 1 all the way to Series 5. They even have the Crystal Zelfs. I wish someone here knew how to do a group order. Some of the imperfect ones would be great for customs.

I've heard they sell bootlegs. There are bootleg Zelfs out there, which is INSANE.  |

Taobao is like a Chinese ebay and there are sellers that do sell bootlegs on there but there are also sellers that sell factory rejects.

I would love a bootleg or reject or two to sit on my shelf with all my boxed up zelfs  . I know there are ways for people to buy from taobao overseas but last I looked most ways required a creditcard and I only have paypal x__x |

I've done a taobao order in the past, I might be willing to put together another one, if there are enough people interested.  It's kinda a long, involved process and it takes a long time (first you have to talk to a Chinese rep, then they order the items from taobao, then you pay the rep, then the rep pays the seller, then the seller ships to the rep, then the rep ships it to you....) It's a bit of a pain but it is cool to get some unique toys. |
