So far, there hasn't been very much merchandise produced of The Zelfs, besides the dolls themselves. The only things I can think of off the top of my head are the Collector Tin, and the magazine. However, I know that if The Zelfs were featured on other types of items, I'd be likely to buy them!
What types of Zelfs merchandise would you like to see in stores? Here are some items I'd love to buy:
- Storybooks and coloring books
- Stickers!!
- Eco shopping bags (TRU sells tons of styles; they should really make a Zelfs one!)
- Beach towels
- Hair accessories for kids
- Plush toys (I probably wouldn't buy them myself, but I know a lot of people would love to see these)
I can think of a lot of other cute products, too. I hope Zelfs become popular enough to branch off into merchandising! What items would everyone else like to see?

I think storybooks could be cool; unless they follow the tone of the webisodes. No offense meant to the creators of the webisodes, but they are a bit ... basic. Why not have a bit of an adventure story or something?
Plush toys could also work
Another thing I could see working is maybe t-shirts?

I would buy a Zelf plushie in a heartbeat! I wouldn't be surprised if they made talking/light up Zelf plushies if they gained enough popularity.
Also. Zelf videogame. Would probably be cheesy and far too simple, but I'd still get it xD

To be truthful, I don't want to be tempted by Zelfs merch. If they came out with well written, interesting books I'd probably buy them but I'm good with just the dolls.  |

I really like the tin, but I'm not sure I'd be crazy about other merchandise. My daughter would probably love stickers.

Don't think I've ever seen the colour me Zelf in the UK... Huh. More country exclusives  Series 3 is going to be the one to stretch the wallets if you want all the characters, so thinking on it, I don't know if extra merchandise at this moment would be good for the poor wallets. (Would be tempting for us fans, though ) |

Sorry for bumping this thread, but I'd like to echo that plushies, trading cards (awesome!) and books would be great merchandise for Zelfs! Maybe more adventure cartoons, or a movie too! Maybe more playsets or Zelf houses and accessories!
What else could they do?

If the Zelfs were a book series, what kind of things would they do that you guys would want to read about? ^.^ I think, for me personally, I would like to see a set of books that had a moralistic message, like the Zelfs learning to help others, friendships are important or putting others needs before yourself, or maybe a save the environment type thing, where humans are slowly destroying the planet and Zelfs rally together to save the forests or endangered animals. That type of thing. Something with a meaning, that will let future generations see that they can change the way of the world. If that's not too preachy?!? I'm a writer myself and as most of my stuff is geared towards children, I think things like this are more beneficial than deciding whether to date a vampire or a werewolf! But that's just me! The market is wide open for the Zelfs to take, school stuff like pencil cases and pens are good, stickers for school books, folders and stuff. Key rings, mobile phone covers, annuals, calendars, mugs and plushies are good for toy collectors as well as little kiddies, board games, trading cards, sticker albums, even fashion related items for girls, there are many possibilities..... I guess the more Zelfs WE buy, and the more popular they get, maybe the merchandise will increase??? |

I'd definitely probably be interested in the stickers and collector cards. Maybe a plushie or 2 depending on how they looked, the cost and whatnot.
I probably wouldn't be bothered by anything else but can definitely see hair accessories, beach towels and school stationary (and ofcourse the plushies) going down well with the younger fans.

On the merchandise front; would a proper animated show count? Maybe if the team behind the webisodes had more than a few minutes, we'd get consistently better material (not that some of them haven't been great! It's just a couple were a bit ... yeah...)
