Hi Zelfies!
So we all know and love this forum, but I was wondering if any of you had any ideas to make this forum even better and Zerrific???
Recently I started a monthly giveaway and had several messages of support and kind words from you all saying that they loved the new interactive side of this forum, and things that they could join in with, whilst some appreciated getting to use their artistic abilities more, so that got me thinking..... what else would you like this forum to offer???
Obviously we'd like to make the Love-YourZelf forum even brighter and better and the bestest that it could possibly be!!! I know its the 'go-to' place for Zelfs, and we often scour the net looking for exclusives before anywhere else gets them! We've recently created a love-yourzelf Facebook page too (I hope you're all on there?)
Here's some of my ideas -
1. I'd like maybe to make a safe and friendly environment for kiddies or Mini Zelfies to interact, share their drawings and take part with other children, making friends across the Globe like we all have, so maybe have a Mini Zelfs section (that is moderated by us) to protect them??? I know several members have children that also collect Zelfs so this may be good for them and you can keep an eye on them here?
2. I'd love more Fan Art and Stories and Photo's, so don't feel shy or insecure about sharing anything Zelf related, maybe we could get monthly virtual 'badges/medals' for excellent work and head-cannons to show our support for great Zelfie's. I know we recently added a Role-Play section here also, so check that out for a place to chill and hang out with online Zelfies!
3. I don't know if this would work really, but its an idea anyhow so I'm sharing - how about a Zelf online shop, where people could sell their Zelf work, like customs or t-shirts, or merchandise, or artwork, or plushies or jewelrey, or engravings etc, I'm not too sure about the legalities of this, so let us know what you think?
4. I'd definitely like to see more games and competitions and giveaways, that's always great for interacting and the responses so far to Zunger Games and Zardenia's Next Top Zelf have been amazingly positive! The great thing about this forum is that its a World-wide forum, giving people from all countries opportunities to take part and chances to win stuff!
5. I was chatting to Galexia about this a while ago, and its a little ambitious, so bear with me - I'm sure some if not most of you are familiar with Harry Potter right?!? Well you know in the stories, they have Hogwarts houses (Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin) well I kinda thought 'what a cool idea if we could sort of incorporate it into the Zelf forums somehow, for example have four or five Zelf "Clans" (the 'Clover Clan', the 'Ruby Clan', the 'Tiger Clan', the 'Pharaoh Clan' and the 'Mermaid Clan' - named after the Rare's) and the members on here, now we are increasing in numbers, are designated into a 'house of sorts' (by the Zorting Hat - forgive me if you don't know HP very well!) I was thinking maybe that they are sorted by the order they joined the forum so person number 1 goes into Clover, the 2nd person who joined into Ruby, 3rd into Tiger, 4th into Pharoah etc) I don't know quite yet how this will work???
Anyhow, members of each house welcome new arrivals of their clans in the introductions and also look out for them, and we could have a selected members of each clan elected as Zelf Prefect or Head Boy/Girl each month with an admin as Head of House? Mods/Admins (only) can give out Zelf Points to members who do something awesome like kind deeds, get Zelfs trending online, arranging trades, finding Zelf news first or general contributions to the forum and also give out Zelf points to winners of various quizzes and competitions?!? (it would be easier to give out Zelf points as opposed to sending Zelfs via mail wouldn't it?) And we somehow have the scores of the Houses Zelf points added up on the forum somewhere so people know which Clan has the most points and make them want to win the Zelf cup each year etc. We could even design little Zelf flags or motifs for each House?
Anyway I've rambled on long enough..... so
If you have any other ideas, feel free to share here and I'm sure the admins will discuss and get back to you... lets make this forum the Number 1 Zelf forum on the Zinternet!!!!
